Dr. McMahon has been certified in the Othmer Method of EEG neurofeedback by the EEG Institute.
Dr. McMahon has completed Clinician 2 training with the Autism Research Institute. She is now accepting patients who wish to undergo biomedical diagnostic work-ups and treatment for neurodevelopmental and other brain disorders. The ARI approach utilizes many of the latest scientific findings, diagnostic tests, and treatments that are not readily available to physicians who have not received extra training in this field.
Dr. McMahon is a co-investigator and author in an article in the Journal of Child Neurology that explores the use of EEG neurofeedback in children with seizures disorders.
